Tonya Moore is a Paralegal and Legal Assistant in our Canandaigua office and a welcomed addition to your ZP Team. Tonya brings to ZP extensive workers’ compensation experience and a lifelong commitment to the Finger Lakes, which is to the benefit of the workers we proudly represent. Tonya has been involved with workers’ compensation since 2017, preparing filings, procuring medical records, working up claims in advance of hearings and developing relationships with medical practices and insurance carriers alike. Clients are routinely eased when on the phone with Tonya, confident in her knowledge of their case and the efficiency with which she moves their claims forward. A paralegal for nearly a decade, Tonya’s previous experience includes forays into real estate, trusts and estates, and matrimonial matters.
Tonya holds Associate Degrees in Applied Sciences (Chemical Dependency) and in Paralegal Studies from Finger Lakes Community College. Prior to entering the legal field, Tonya worked as an inpatient and outpatient addiction counselor. Her love of the Buffalo Bills is contagious, and she can proudly claim 100% attendance at all home games during one season – and that was without a season ticket. Tonya also enjoys spending time crafting. She grew up in Ovid and now resides in Canandaigua and loves to spend time with her daughters and granddaughter.
