The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire of 1911 was a tragic event that led to critical workplace safety and workers’ compensation laws. Today, workers’ compensation attorneys, including Zea Proukou, continue that legacy by supporting the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire Memorial, which provides $6,000 annual college scholarships to children of workers who were permanently disabled or lost their lives due to a work-related injury.
